Patroness of butchers, unhappily married women, desperate and apparently impossible cases.
She is depicted praying in front of a crucifix, from whose crown of thorns a thorn leaps off and wounds her forehead, or Christ hands her a thorn, Mary a wreath of roses, or with three flagella.
Her feast day is May 22nd.
